Savoy House
The Savoy House StoryThe Savoy House story begins in the 1930s in Georgia when Robert E. Lee (not the military leader) saw a train in the distance. Lee jumped on board thinking anything was better than plowing a field. He ended up in East Point, Georgia, where he spent his last dime at a grocery store and bakery. Years later, he and his son opened a lighting showroom out of these same two buildings, establishing Savoy House, Inc. in 1965. Savoy House is now located in Duluth, Georgia.
